About the Commercial Contact Grill - Single Plate

One plate on 2.2 KW in a 425×370 mm footprint. A contact grill closes onto the food and cooks from both sides at once, which is why a sandwich takes a couple of minutes rather than the several a flat griddle needs with a turn in the middle.

That also means it presses. Sandwiches come out compressed and sealed rather than open, which is what most cafés want from a grilled sandwich or a panini.

The single plate is the size for a café, a sandwich counter or a small restaurant where grilled items are part of the menu rather than the whole of it - one order down at a time, through the day.

At 2.2 KW it runs from an ordinary commercial point. When two orders regularly arrive together, the double jumbo runs two plates with separate controls.
